Listing standards

What we look for before a maker’s shop listing appears in the Wedma directory. Every listing is reviewed by a person.
Handmade by you. You (or your small team) make the item. No dropshipping, no reselling mass-produced goods, no print-on-demand catalogs you don't touch.
Massachusetts-based. Your shop operates from Massachusetts. That's the point of the marketplace.
Made for weddings. The item belongs at a wedding — décor, favors, paper goods, ceremony pieces, attire accents. If a couple wouldn't buy it for their wedding, it doesn't belong here.
No trademarked names or characters. Franchise names, characters, logos, and celebrity names can't appear in listings — in the name, the description, or the product itself. "Inspired by" phrasing that names the franchise counts. Our submission form flags common terms automatically, but the list isn't exhaustive and a person makes the final call.
Photos of the actual product. At least one real photo of the real item. No stock photos, no renders presented as the product.
Accurate processing times. If it takes two weeks to make, say two weeks. Couples plan around dates more than any customer on earth.

How review works

New listings and edits to existing listings are reviewed before couples see them. If a listing is declined you'll see the reason in your listing dashboard, and you can submit a corrected listing. Established makers with a track record earn trusted status with streamlined review.

Fees

Makers and crafters list on the same terms as every Wedma vendor: a flat $29/month for your shop listing in the directory. No per-sale fee, no listing fee, cancel anytime.
